Kadıköy Moda

Moda is the undisputed creative and cultural epicenter of Istanbul’s Asian side (Kadıköy). While tourists and short-term nomads cluster in Galata or Cihangir on the European side, long-term operators retreat across the Bosphorus to Moda. It offers a dense, walkable, bohemian lifestyle with significantly less tourist friction and a profound local coffee culture.

Kadikoy (Moda) is on the Asian side. It is fiercely local, highly progressive, and offers incredible coffee culture. Rely on the ferries to cross to Europe rather than road bridges.

Obtaining an Ikamet (residence permit) has become significantly harder in many Istanbul districts; the DNV circumvents this.
